TMC MP Mahua Moitra has shared a text message she received as Adani Group acquired 29.18% stake in television channel NDTV, which read, “Soon I will be watching Netflix and then I will realise they’ve bought the sofa I’m sitting on.” Notably, NDTV said that 29% of the media company was acquired without any discussion, consent or notice.
