Actress Dipika Kakar, recalling her financial struggles, revealed that she would hang dupattas as curtains when she shifted to a 1 BHK flat in Mumbai with her mother. “I remember since it was a necessity, we bought a mattress for ₹300-400…We would sleep in opposite directions on the same mattress – just the way one does in trains,” Dipika added.
