Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off Rajasthan’s first Vande Bharat Express train on April 12 (Wednesday) via video conferencing. The train connecting Delhi Cantt to Ajmer will cover the distance in 5 hours and 15 minutes. It will be faster by 60 minutes as compared to the Shatabdi Express running on the same route, the Prime Minister’s Office said.
