hojpuri song ‘Patli Kamariya Mori Haye Haye’ has become quite a rage on social media as scores of Instagrammers, Facebookers and Twitterers have been seen in the past few days making reels from it.

Just a few days ago, four women police constables in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya were suspended after a video of them dancing to the hit song went viral.

The women reportedly made the reel while they were deployed as part of security at the Ram Janmabhoomi.

The video showed them dancing to the song in civil dress and not uniform. According to a PTI report, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Muniraj G ordered the suspension of the four police constables based on an inquiry report filed by Additional SP (security) Pankaj Pandey on Thursday.

But this has not stopped netizens from making reels and dancing to the song.

The latest hit rendition of the song has come from a group of students, who have gone viral with over 13 million views for only a 10-second clip.

The clip begins with three students throwing flying kisses. As it progresses, their fellow classmate starts dancing to the song. The camera pans back to show the three students singing the “Haye! Haye!” chorus while waving their blazers in the air.

The clip ends with the three girls exchanging cheers for the lead dancer.
