High Commission of India in Ottawa has announced that e-visa facility for Canadian passport-holders has been restored. Canadian passport-holders who wish to visit India for tourism, business, medical or conference purposes can apply for the e-visa. Passport-holders travelling to India for reasons not qualifying for e-visa may apply for the paper visa, the High Commission added.
