The counting of votes for the elections to 250 wards of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi began at 8 am today. As many as 20 companies of paramilitary personnel and over 10,000 Delhi Police officers have been deployed at 42 centres where the counting is taking place. Polling for the national capital’s civic body elections was held on December 4.
