China on Sunday reported two new COVID-19 deaths as restrictions were eased in some areas amid widespread public outrage. The National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China said one death was reported each in the provinces of Shandong and Sichuan. However, no information was made available about the ages of the victims or whether they were vaccinated.
