A woman and her 28-year-old lover have been arrested after she allegedly forced her 15-year-old daughter to marry him in Maharashtra’s Pune. The 36-year-old woman also allegedly forced her to have sexual relations with him, a police officer said. “The woman told the girl she would commit suicide if the latter did not agree to the marriage,” the officer added.
