MR Ramya, a female police officer in Kerala who breastfed a 12-day-old baby separated from its mother due to a fight between its parents, has been praised by State Police Chief (SPC) and Kerala High Court’s Justice Devan Ramachandran. “You are…the face of policing at its best,” Justice Ramachandran said. She was also presented with a commendation certificate by SPC.
