Kyiv urges global ban on Russia’s RT after anchor’s call to drown Ukrainian children

Ukraine has urged a global ban on the Russian channel RT after one of the channel’s news anchors allegedly said that Ukrainian children who saw Russians as occupiers under Soviet Union should have been drowned. Ukraine has termed the channel an ‘incitor of genocide’. RT’s Editor-In-Chief Margarita Simonyan said she had suspended the presenter, Anton Krasovsky, for his “disgusting” comments.
