First pics of spacecraft crashing into asteroid taken by James Webb & Hubble released

The James Webb and Hubble telescopes revealed images of NASA’s DART spacecraft deliberately crashing into an asteroid, marking the first time the two telescopes observed the same celestial target. An image taken by James Webb shows “plumes of material appearing as wisps streaming away from the centre”. Hubble images show the expanding spray of matter from where DART hit.
