After a Russian official said civilian satellites “may become a legitimate target for retaliation” if used for military purposes, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk tweeted, “Starlink is meant for peaceful use only.” While the official didn’t mention SpaceX, he said this “extremely dangerous trend” has become apparent in Ukraine. Notably, SpaceX provided Starlink terminals to Ukraine after Russian invasion.
