Lufthansa pilots call off strike after reaching deal in wage dispute

Pilots of German airlines Lufthansa have called off their second strike scheduled for this week after reaching a deal in their wage dispute with the company. The Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) pilots’ union said that they had reached a deal on a comprehensive package and are yet to discuss details of the agreement. The strike was due to begin on Wednesday.
