The Israeli army on Monday announced the results of its investigation into the killing of Palestinian-American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, saying it was “highly possible” that she was killed by an Israeli soldier’s gunfire. However, no one would be punished as the shooting was accidental, army added. Akleh was killed in May while covering a military raid in West Bank.
