Ahead of the first anniversary of Taliban seizing power in Afghanistan, EU External Action Service (EEAS) said that the Taliban failed to form an inclusive political system in the country. “[Taliban’s]…abuses include extrajudicial killings, arbitrary arrests and detentions. Freedom of opinion, expression, press, peaceful assembly and association are being violated,” the EEAS said in a statement.
