Weightlifter Achinta Sheuli bagged India’s third gold at CWG 2022 after lifting a total of 313 kg in men’s 73-kg category. With this, the 20-year-old set a new Commonwealth Games record. He lifted 143 kg in snatch event and 170 kg in clean and jerk event. All of India’s six medals at CWG 2022 so far have come from weightlifting.
