12 schools in New Zealand receive bomb threats, several evacuated

At least 12 schools across New Zealand received bomb threats on Thursday, causing several of the schools involved to be evacuated or locked down. Authorities claimed that an overseas cyberattack could be behind these hoax threats and stated that there isn’t any safety risk. Notably, this comes a day after four schools in the country received hoax calls.
