US Judge rejects Amber Heard’s request for new trial with Johnny Depp

Judge Penney Azcarate, the Virginia judge who oversaw Johnny Depp’s defamation case against actress Amber Heard, has rejected actress Heard’s request for a new trial. This comes after Heard’s lawyers had alleged that the wrong juror sat during the trial. “Defendant does not allege Juror Fifteen’s inclusion on the jury prejudiced her in any way,” Azcarate wrote.
