Curfew imposed in Colombo till Friday morning to prevent further unrest

Sri Lanka’s acting President Ranil Wickremesinghe has imposed a curfew in Colombo from 12 pm on July 14 to 5 am on July 15 in a bid to prevent further unrest. Wickremesinghe was appointed as acting President after Gotabaya Rajapaksa fled the country with his wife amid mass protests over the economic crisis. Protesters are also demanding Wickremesinghe’s resignation.
