McDonald’s has been ordered to pay $800,000 (over ₹6.5 crore) by a US jury to a girl who received second-degree burns from a Chicken McNugget. In 2019, an “unreasonably and dangerously” hot McNugget fell on the then-four-year-old girl’s lap, resulting in second-degree burns, according to the lawsuit filed by her parents. The family’s lawyers initially sought $15 million in damages.
