Nepali Gurkhas joining Wagner eyeing Russian citizenship: Reports

Nepali Gurkhas are reportedly joining Russian mercenary group Wagner with the aim to gain Russian citizenship. Several of these Nepali soldiers have retired from the Nepal army and are reportedly trying to join Wagner in a personal capacity. Notably, Russia issued a decree in May to simplify the path of citizenship for foreigners serving in the army or military formations.
