During its WWDC 2023 event on June 5, Apple could announce that it is dropping ‘Hey’ from the trigger phrase ‘Hey Siri’. As per Bloomberg, following this, a user will only need to say ‘Siri’ coupled with a command. If this happens, Apple will match Amazon’s Alexa, which requires users to say ‘Alexa’ instead of ‘Hey Alexa’.
