Meteor lights up Australian sky in green; video surfaces

Residents in northeast Australia witnessed the night sky light up with a green flash as a meteor blazed through the atmosphere on Saturday. According to reports, the meteor came to Earth with a “tremendous boom”. A video shared by Australia’s Cairns Airport showed the sky lighting up green and then yellow as the meteor approached on Saturday.
