Apple lets iPhones speak in the voice of their users

Apple previewed a new ‘Personal Voice’ feature to let iPhones speak in the voice of their users. Users can create a personal voice by reading along with a randomised set of text prompts to record 15 minutes of audio on iPhone. It’s mainly for users at risk of losing their ability to speak — such as those diagnosed with ALS.
