Arrest warrant for Indian-origin woman’s killer issued in Canada

A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued for a 30-year-old man in relation to the murder of 21-year-old Indo-Canadian woman Pawanpreet Kaur, who was shot and killed in December 2022. The accused, Dharam Dhaliwal, intentionally went missing in September 2022 as part of a plan to murder Kaur, police said. Two of Dhaliwal’s family members were arrested on April 18.
