Unauthorised repair work led to Nexon EV fire in Pune: Tata Motors

Tata Motors issued a statement after a Tata Nexon EV caught fire in Pune’s Katraj area on Sunday. The car’s left headlamps were recently replaced at an unauthorised workshop, the company said. “The fitment and repair process, at the unauthorised workshop, had shortcomings, which caused an electrical malfunction in the headlamp area leading to the thermal incident,” it added.
