The Union Cabinet on Thursday approved a revision in the formula for the pricing of natural gas and imposed a price cap to slash CNG and piped cooking gas prices by up to 10%. APM gas, natural gas produced from old fields, will be priced at 10% of the price of a basket of crude oil that India imports.
