Smriti Irani revealed that after she got selected for Miss India, she needed ₹1 lakh which she took from her father. “He said…I’ll give you…money, but…you’ll have to pay me back, with interest,” she said. Smriti added she later started working at a McDonald’s outlet as a cleaner for ₹1500 per month to return a part of the borrowed sum.
