ISRO ranks 147 districts for landslide risk, 2 Uttarakhand districts in top 10

National Remote Sensing Centre, ISRO, has ranked 147 districts in India for their exposure to landslides. Uttarakhand’s Rudraprayag and Tehri Garhwal districts were ranked first and second respectively, followed by Thrissur, Kerala. The next on the list were Rajouri (J&K), Palakkad (Kerala), Poonch (J&K), Malappuram (Kerala), South District (Sikkim), East District (Sikkim) and Kozhikode (Kerala).
