British girl who joined ISIS as teen loses UK citizenship appeal

A British woman, who left the UK to join ISIS in Syria at the age of 15, has lost her appeal against the decision to revoke her British citizenship. Shamima Begum, now aged 23, was stripped of her British citizenship on national security grounds in 2019. Begum is currently living in a Syrian refugee camp.
