EC ruling on Shiv Sena part of BJP’s Operation Lotus: AAP’s Menon

The AAP criticised the Election Commission of India’s (ECI) decision to recognise the faction led by Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde as the Shiv Sena. “The conduct of EC will even put the proverbial caged parrot to shame…The EC order is an extension of Operation Lotus,” said AAP leader Preeti Sharma Menon. She added that “these dangerous acts” attack India’s federalism.
