Congress MP Rajani Ashokrao Patil has been suspended from Rajya Sabha for the remainder of the Budget session after she recorded House proceedings. Patil tweeted a video showing Opposition MPs protesting during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech in the Parliament. Calling it an “unwholesome activity”, RS Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar said the matter will be probed by the Privileges Committee.
