It’s not development: Opposition as govt renames ‘Mughal Gardens’

Opposition parties on Saturday criticised the government after the ‘Mughal Gardens’ at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi was renamed to ‘Amrit Udyan’. Congress’ Rashid Alvi said, “History cannot be changed by tearing the pages of history. Make your own garden. Renaming of roads in cities does not lead to development.” “Changing the name is a big task for them,” he added.
