Five former US police officers were charged on Thursday with murder in the death of a Black motorist, Tyre Nichols. The former Memphis officers are accused of brutally beating Nichols after a traffic stop on January 7. The 29-year-old died three days later, on January 10. Bodycam footage of the encounter is expected to be released on Friday evening.
