National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) Managing Director Vinay Kumar Singh has said, “[Delhi-Meerut RRTS] corridor will be instrumental in taking [over] one lakh private vehicles off…roads.” The RRTS train has achieved a top speed of 160 kmph during a test run on the 17-km priority stretch in Ghaziabad. NCRTC aims to open the 17-km priority corridor by March 2023.
