Tesla reports record deliveries of 1.3 million vehicles in 2022

Tesla on Monday reported that it delivered record 1.3 million vehicles in 2022, surpassing previous record of 9,36,000 vehicles delivered in 2021. Though the deliveries in 2022 jumped 40% year-over-year, the figure fell short of the Elon Musk-led company’s 50% growth target. Additionally, Tesla produced nearly 1.4 million vehicles in 2022, up 47% from the prior year.
