Plus-size model denied seat on Qatar Airways flight, airline told to pay for her therapy

A court in Brazil ordered Qatar Airways to pay for the psychotherapy of a 38-year-old plus-size model who was stopped from taking an economy seat on its flight, for being “too big”. Juliana Nehme accused the airline of discrimination, saying she was told to buy a business-class ticket for $3,000. The airline also allegedly refused to refund her economy ticket.
