A man named Jan Vorster from South Africa shared an image of dead aloe vera plants lining the beach. It was taken in his hometown of Still Bay, Western Cape. Reacting to it, some Facebook users wrote, “[They] look like aliens” while another comment read, “Scary!” Vorster’s purpose behind sharing the picture was to raise awareness on environmental damage.
