Filmmaker-writer Tahira Kashyap said she “borrowed money” from her husband Ayushmann Khurrana to make her first short film ‘Toffee’ (2017). She shared that she was “sceptical” about the film, but her “big moment of realisation” was when it got picked up by festivals and a streaming platform. “I knew this is what I wanted…but I needed a…push,” Tahira added.
