Divya Dutta revealed that Shah Rukh Khan had recommended her name to director Mani Ratnam for his 1998 film ‘Dil Se’. She added on his recommendation, Mani messaged her, saying he won’t be able to cast her as she looks “similar” to lead actress Manisha Koirala. She recalled the filmmaker saying, “I can’t have two similar actresses in one film.”
