Withdrew nomination voluntarily: Guj candidate who AAP said was ‘kidnapped’ by BJP

AAP’s Surat (East) candidate Kanchan Jariwala said he withdrew his nomination from the elections voluntarily and without any pressure. In a statement, Jariwala said that he took the decision after people of his constituency labelled him “anti-national” and “anti-Gujarat” for contesting the election from AAP and threatened not to support him. AAP had accused BJP of kidnapping Jariwala on Wednesday.
