Instagram fixes bug that suspended multiple accounts, cut follower count

Instagram on Monday said it has fixed a bug that prevented people across different parts of the world from accessing their accounts and “caused a temporary change for some in number of followers”. The outage reportedly lasted for about eight hours. Many users had complained about receiving messages that said their accounts were suspended.
