Former AIIMS Director Dr Randeep Guleria on Wednesday said new variants of COVID-19 are expected which have the tendency to mutate. However, he said the situation is different now as people are vaccinated and have developed immunity against the virus. “If you are going out, especially in crowded places, [you] must wear a mask,” he added.
