Schools in Lucknow, Kanpur, Meerut & Hapur closed amid heavy rains

All schools till Class 12 in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow, Kanpur, Meerut and Hapur districts will remain closed on Monday in view of heavy rainfall prediction. This comes after the district administration in Aligarh announced that all schools will be closed till October 12. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall in the state in the next few days.
