Saudi Arabia Launches Astronaut Program That Will Send First Saudi Woman to Space in 2023

Saudi Arabia on Thursday said it will start a training programme with the aim to send a woman astronaut into space by next year. The programme will be part of the kingdom’s Vision 2030 plan. The first Arab to go to space was Saudi Arabian Prince Sultan bin Salman in 1985 as part of a NASA mission.
