UAE’s tourism revenues surpass $5 billion in first half of 2022

The tourism revenue of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) surpassed 19 billion dirhams (around $5 billion) in the first half of 2022, officials said on Sunday. “The total number of hotel guests reached 12 million, achieving 42% growth and we expect a strong tourism performance in this winter season,” Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said.
