Russia unwilling to recognise risk at Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant: US

The US said on Sunday that Russia blocked the final draft of review of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty as it was unwilling to acknowledge the risk of a nuclear accident at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant. This comes after Russia blocked the adoption of a joint declaration of the treaty at the UN saying it lacked “balance”.
