At least 12 killed, 31 injured after Polish bus crashes in Croatia

A bus from Poland veered off a road and crashed near Varazdin in Croatia early on Saturday, killing at least 12 of its occupants and injuring 31 others on board, Croatian authorities said. “All the victims are Polish citizens,” Poland’s Foreign Ministry confirmed. The passengers were adult pilgrims headed to a Roman Catholic shrine in Bosnia, Croatia’s Interior Minister informed.
