Arpita Mukherjee’s advocate pleaded before a court that the aide of ex-Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee should get Division 1 prisoner category as she faces a life threat. Agreeing with this, Enforcement Directorate’s advocate said Mukherjee shouldn’t be kept with more than four prisoners. The advocate said that food and water should be tested before being served to her in jail.
