India’s 26-year-old weightlifter Gurdeep Singh bagged a bronze medal in the men’s 109+ kg final after lifting a total of 390 kg. He lifted 167 kg in the snatch event and 223 kg in the clean and jerk event. India have now won 10 medals in weightlifting at CWG 2022, including four bronze, three silver and three gold medals.
